Terms and conditions

All participants can choose five (5) different players, with no limitations in relation to playing position (there is no need to vote players from different positions – point guards, forwards, center, etc.).

Each journalist will have the chance to submit a single vote.

The voting period will be open from 12:00 CEST on March 31, until 12:00 CEST on April 14.

The votes submitted by media will have a 20% impact on the selection of the official 2024-2025 All-EuroLeague, First and Second Team and MVP. The remaining 80% will be the result of the voting conducted among coaches, team captains and fans, equally distributed as follows:

- Fans: 10%

- Media: 20%

- EuroLeague Coaches: 35%

- EuroLeague team captains: 35%

The player with the most accumulated percentage adding all four categories votes will be the 2024-2025 season MVP.

The five (5) players with the most accumulated percentage adding all four categories votes will be the 2024-2025 All- EuroLeague First Team.

The next five (5) players with the most accumulated percentage adding all four categories votes will be the 2024-2025 All-EuroLeague Second Team.

Who Can Participate?

Throughout the Voting Period, any natural person over 18 years old, with an active EuroleagueID account and/or EuroleagueIDPRO account (jointly referred as to the “Account”) may participate in the Contest. However, those Participants with an EuroleagueIDPRO will not be eligible to any of the prizes of the Voting.

In the event that the person does not have an Account, Participants will be required to create an Account in order to participate in the Voting.

To this end, access to the voting using the Account shall be understood to have been effected by the said registered Participant, who shall be liable in all cases for this access. No purchase or payment is required to participate in the Voting.

The Organizer, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Contest. The Organizer is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the voting.

The Organizer, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies shall also not be liable for (i) the slowness or temporary unavailability of the voting platform or any of its web or mobile components or (ii) the delay, clogging or loss of data in the input of voting information into the database(s) where the votes are stored.

If there are technical or other issues with the votes, the Organizer reserves the right to discount the votes (as applicable) and announce the result of the vote without including those affected votes.

Participant’s Declaration

Participants are solely responsible for their profile pictures, personal information(s) and name and voting (the “Submissions”) they submit. Participants represent and warrant that: (i) they are free to enter into and are fully authorized to participate in the Contest; (ii) the Submissions they have entered are true; (iii) the posting of the Submissions on the Accounts, or the use by the Organizer of the Submissions as permitted under these Terms and Conditions shall not violate the privacy rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.

These Terms and Conditions have been drafted in English. The participant acknowledges and agrees that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and that are fully aware of the rights and obligations arising therefrom. EV shall not be liable for the participant misunderstanding of the contents of these Terms and Conditions or for any mistranslation that may have been generated by any online translator.

The participant agrees that no claim relating to losses or injuries or disappointment suffered by participating in the Contest (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Organizer, its parent companies, sub-contractors, subsidiaries, sponsors, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from the participation in the Contest.

Should any provisions of the Terms and Conditions be declared void, ineffective, illegal or unenforceable by any competent court, regulator or authority the remainder of these shall remain in effect as if such void, ineffective, illegal or unenforceable provision(s) had not been included and where required and/or permitted under applicable law, the invalid provision shall be replaced with a provision, which closely approximates the purpose of such invalid provision.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended or modified, or new conditions may be imposed at any time. By participating in the Contest, the Participant agrees that the posting of new or revised Terms and Conditions of the Contest on or within the Euroleague Platforms shall constitute adequate and constructive notice to the Participant of any and all changes.

Queries sent in other languages will be translated using an automatic translator and the response will be provided in English. No liability of any kind shall be asserted to the Organizer for inaccurate responses in these cases.

Data Processing Notice

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA?

All personal data provided within the framework of your participation in the ALL-25 Euroleague Voting and Giveaway Contest (also referred to as the “Contest” and “Data”, respectively), will be included in a database owned by Euroleague Ventures S.A with address in 60, Grand-Rue, L-1660, Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as “EV”) and managed by Euroleague Entertainment S.L.U with registered address at Carrer Quatre Camins 9-13, Barcelona (08022), Spain, (hereinafter referred to as “EES”).

For the processing of the Data, EV is the data controller and EES is the data processor (where data controller and data processor have the meanings as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/678 (the “GDPR).

WITH WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The purpose of the processing will be to:

Manage your participation in the Contest, to ensure that you meet the criteria to be a participant and winner, to contact winners and to deliver the prizes;
With respect to the winners, upon acceptance of the prize and with the prior authorization/consent to it, to use their image in order to publicly disseminate their condition of winners; and
Send Participants commercial information and/or promotions related to EV and/or EV sponsors and information on the activities, events, services and products of EV, if Participants so consent to it.
WHAT TYPE OF DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We process the data necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purposes, which are:

Identification data: name and surname and Instagram account;
Contact details: email address
Location data: Place of residence
General information of the participant: Date of birth
Winners image subject to Winners prior consent
The Participant guarantee that the Data provided to the Organizer for the purpose of this Contest is accurate and true. Incomplete, erroneous or false data will be null and void.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Your Data will only be processed for as long as it is necessary, useful and relevant to fulfil the purposes we collected it for (as outlined at “With what purpose do we process your Data?” above).

Upon termination of the Contest, your Data will be stored and properly blocked to the only effects of fulfilling the legal or contractual obligations that are of application and during the limitation period of the actions that may arise from our relationship and in accordance with Account Terms and Conditions.

For the provision of commercial communications, your Data will be kept as long as you have not withdrawn your consent. You can oppose and/or withdraw your consent for this processing at any time.

WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING?

The legal basis for the processing of Participants Data is as follows:

· With respect to the delivery of prizes, the execution of this Giveaway under the terms and conditions set forth herein; the processing of personal data linked to that purpose is strictly necessary to comply with this legal relationship (Art. 6.1b GDPR);

· Regarding the use of the image of the winners, their own consent (Art. 6.1a GDPR);

· With regard to the sending of commercial information and information on the activities, events, services and products of EV, their own consent (art. 6.1a GDPR). We will handle your Data for these purposes as long as you do not oppose such processing;

· Compliance with the obligations imposed on EV by the applicable regulations. The processing of personal data linked to this purpose (with the exception of the image) is strictly necessary in order to comply with the aforementioned legal obligations (Art. 6.1c GDPR).

WHO WILL RECEIVE YOUR DATA?

We may share your Data with public organizations, judges, courts, police and, in general, competent authorities when we have the legal obligation to provide them and to some third-party services providers (which may be based outside the European Economic Area) as a consequence of the delivery of the prizes.

Please note that we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the European Economic Area and under the GDPR. Euroleague Basketball follows strict criteria of selection of service providers in order to comply with their obligations in terms of data protection and undertakes to sign with them the corresponding data processing contracts and/or if required, the standard contractual clauses, through which they will impose, among others, the following obligations: apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, use the personal data for the agreed purposes and acting only on the documented instructions of EV.

WHAT ARE PARTICIPANTS RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

You can exercise, at any time, under the terms established by law, your rights of access, rectification or deletion of data, as well as request restrictions on the processing of your Data, oppose its processing or request the portability of your Data, by sending a postal communication to the address indicated above or by writing an e-mail to [email protected].

In any case, you can file a complaint before the National Commission for Data Protection from the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and/or before any other competent data protection authority.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Luxembourg and any disputes that may arise will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Luxembourgish courts.
